About Me

I am a future registered dietitian with paid clinical experience. I am currently a dietetic intern with Sodexo Dietetic Internship as well as working as a Dietitian Nutritionist 1 at Adventist Health and Rideout. I love my job and helping people who need nutrition therapy or education is my passion. I have truly loved learning during the process of my internship and I cannot wait to learn more as I progress through my career.

Food Service/Concentration

I spent at total of 320 hours in the café at the Jackson Laboratory in Sacramento. At this location I completed hours for my food service rotation as well as my culinary concentration. Here we served all of the employees and I was able to work with a small intimate team to see how a small but efficient kitchen works. I was also able to develop recipes for their World Wednesday program finding recipes for different cultures.

Community Rotation

I volunteered a total of 136 hours at the Elk Grove Food Bank. Here I spent my time assisting customers shop for their food, working in the warehouse preparing the products for customers, and providing brief nutrition educations when appropriate.

Clinical Rotation

I spent a total of 448 hours at this hospital.  I spent my time assessing patients and providing education to patients who were admitted. My favorite part of my time there was the 128 hours I spent in the ICU. Throughout my time here I have spent a lot of time corresponding with the interdisciplinary team, but getting to have conversations with doctors has been an invaluable experience. I loved my time here so much that I have accepted a part time position here as a Dietitian Nutritionist 1.
